Climate is the average weather conditions in a place over 30 years or more. More rigorously, it is the mean and variability of meteorological variables over a time spanning from months to millions of years. Some of the meteorological variables that are commonly measured are temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind, and precipitation.

Earth's climate has changed dramatically many times throughout history.

Much of the time Earth's climate was hotter and more humid than it is today, but climate has also been colder, as when glaciers covered much more of the planet. There have been seven cycles of glacial advance and retreat, with the abrupt end of the last ice age about 11,700 years ago marking the beginning of the modern climate era - and of human civilization.

Most of these climate changes are attributed to very small variations in Earth’s orbit that change the amount of solar energy our planet receives. But since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change.

I think nature always has a solution for climate changes. Living organisms has to quickly adapt to these changes or die.  This way nature keeps the evolution cycle moving and also creating new life forms. Humans and other species have survived countless climatic changes in the past, and humans are a notably adaptable species.

Climate change has done more good than harm so far and is likely to continue doing so for most of this century. There are many likely effects of climate change: positive and negative.

Benefits from Climate change (Global Warming): The scientific consensus is that warmer temperatures do more good than harm. Most of the life has adapted to warm climate. As a result of Global warming, more land that is now under ice may be available for humans (Greenland, Siberia, Antarctica, etc.). Life may flourish better than what we see now.

Drawbacks from Climate change (Global Warming): Many species living in cold regions may not be able to adapt to warm temperatures, and so may become extinct. Sea water (Increase in Sea levels due to melting of ice) may swallow coastal areas.

I think, because of climate changes throughout Earth’s history, suitable environments were created for life to be formed and sustain it. Climate changes have given life chances to diversify in to innumerable species that we see today.

As you can see, Climate change is Earth’s natural phenomena. Whether man-made or not, Climate change will happen. It is we humans who have to adapt to it and not vice versa.

So, Stop Worrying about Earth’s Climate and Think how to adapt !
